You can, you've gotta go into www and a portal in area 1 will send you to the middle of den area one and you get army data, then you go to the test room and take it.

u need a DS that has a gameboy slot in it first insert a megaman battle network game in the game boy slot(it doesnt matter which one) and in your starforce 1 game pulse into the dog house in echo ridge u should see a EM wave ball thingy and theres a little cutscene and then u need to find a jammer(i cant remember where it is)and when u defeat it u go back to the dog house and another cutscene will come and Megaman gives Megaman the BN buster. hope i helped

I don`t think so they are different in many ways such as what are they made of. X is made from repliod parts while Megaman is in Cyberspace and is probably made from a matter called plasma if there is such thing or I`ll simply say Megaman is a hunk of moving data WITH a personality. (no offence guys!) lets compare the looks. Megaman has the symbol on his chest Lan has on his bandana as you can see but on X`s chest you see some nice disign of armoring. X has a bigger variety of colours then Megaman but he is less brighter. Megaman has yellow shoulder pads but X has blue shoulder pads. Megaman has hair but X dosen`t. X has 2 big slits that let go of a fire like cape as he runs ( In command mission not in x 1,2,3,4 and 5) but Megaman has some kind of pack (looks like an jetpack) that looks pretty much useless So I`m saying they are NOT the same character but fight with the similar kind of main weapon (the original buster) so you could say they are like... brothers exept they arent enjoy the info!

How do you get star ID and army data in megaman battle network 2?1. To get Star ID you need to complete the game once, when you do it, confirm that you got a yellow star in the main screen next to continue.2. To get Army Data you need to go to WWW area 1 (to go there you will have to go to Undernet 4 and find a red warp, it will take you there but save before entrance cause once you enter, you cant jack out). To go to WWW area 1, you will need to watched 130 chips on your library, have S license and have Star ID. Once you are in WWW area 1 you will have to go far in there but not as far to go to WWW area 2. When you enconter 3 Protecto1s you have to attack 200 damage all of them at once (what I did was use a Fan an then a StepSword with one Attack +20 and one Attack +30, that makes 200 damage to all of them at once). When you destroy the Protecto1s, you will have to unlock a security cube with your S license, then there will be a red warp again, take it and it will take you to Den Area 1, there is a Mystery Data, obviously you will need an Unlocker. That's Army Data, save, jack out and jack in and go to the License Examiner.My opinion: When you opened the S license cube, to the left there is a NetLeader, try it.
