Jesus is the son of god. he left his position of being god in heaven and he became like us. john 1:1-2 says that in the begining was the word, and the word was with god, and the word was god. he was with god in the begining. in verse 14 it says the word became flesh. so the word is Jesus.

he came so we would be made right with God. The Bible says we have all sined and fallen short of gods glorious standard. the bible says not one does good. we cannot be worthy of god, nor can we ever enter the kingdon of god if we did not know Jesus, and more importantly, if Jesus did not know us. but Jesus died on the cross so that we might be saved. not only did he die on that cross. he is the only god to ever rise from the dead. we do not worship a dead god. we worship a god who is alive.

Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth ``Jesus is lord`` and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. for it is with your heart that you believe and are justified. and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

and since we are guilty of a huge sin, no one can make us right with god but Jesus Christ. we are saved by faith Jesus Christ and faith in Jesus Christ alone, and when we have faith we must be led to repentance of sin.

Luke 13:3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.

Most Israelites are Jewish. Their belief is similar to Christianity, but not the same. They believe in God, but they do not believe that the Messiah has come. They continue to follow the Law of Moses. They do not have a close relationship with God. Christianity is a relationship, not a religion. Christians believe that Jesus was the Messiah, and that because Jesus came He created a path to God so that we may have a relationship with Him.
