At no load, the flux is only due to the residual flux, which is very small. the no load speed of dc series motor is very high. so the rotating part of the motor are damaged. hince dc series motor should never be run without motor.
when both runs at same speed
In any DC motor the speed depends inversely on the flux. Consider when starting a series motor the current flowing will be high, but the flux that the motor produces will be moderate since the series winding has less number of turns. If u start the motor without load the speed will increase. as speed increases the back emf increases. this decreases the current through the series winding and hence flux decreases and the speed further increases. Theoretically speaking the speed becomes infinite. But practically the motor will accelerate to very high speed , which will damage the motor. But if you start the motor with the load, you are actually reducing the starting speed hence the motor runs safely. Since series motors has this property it is used in trains to pull high load.
This is normal on GM vehicles. The motor always runs at a very low speed.
It depends on what it runs on. A motor runs on electricity and an engine runs on fossil fuels. It depends on what it runs on. A motor runs on electricity and an engine runs on fossil fuels.
It will run slower because the resistance in series with the motor will take some of the voltage and thereby reduce the current to the armature windings (less magnetic field).
The Torque Speed characteristics of a series connected dc motor is such that at zero load the speed is "infinite"! ie it over runs and can burn out/explode! The characteristics are quite easy to derive from the basic equations of a dc motor but you can see them in most text books on electrical machines.
No changes will occur by wiring a 110 volt motor in reverse polarity, rotation will always be the same. Some single phase motors are designed to be reversed ,but that is a function of the relationship of start windings and capacitors and requires some wiring changes in a motor junction box or an end terminal housing, not by just changing the incoming power.
This configuration is used to reduce the starting current. Utility companies do not like large motor loads starting across the line. It dips the voltage level of the line. By reducing the starting current to a lower level also reduces the voltage dip in the supply lines.
By replacing the motor with another circular motor.
The Indianapolis 500 still runs on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
the motor which runs in electric
A circuit board is the inducer motor. It runs off of 120 volts.
