Alexander the great di not intentionally harm his own kingdom. He was more concerned about conquering other nations and bring peace to the Mediterranean, Western Asia, and Northern Africa. He was also known to be something of a ladies man and tended to get caught up in womanizing. He was also thought to have had malaria which caused him to die before he could ever return to Macedonia at the age of 32.
