Egypt and Israel
Jordan and Israel have a certain degree of commerce and trade although most Jordanians still oppose Israel. Egypt and Israel have a cold peace. Lebanon and Syria both lack relations with Israel.
Even the most foolish man on earth know that iran is like a rat before israel and no arab country will defeat israel. Even if arab countries join hands together israel will still go withvictory. God promise israel not to fear for he is with them all the time, so fight israel is like fighting god himself
Egypt played both sides of the Cold War. They allied themselves mostly with the Soviets as their enemy Israel was supported by the US and Britain. They received a great deal of military aid as well as other benefits from the Soviets.
No specific dates, the USSR had a policy that began in the 1950's that favored the Arab nations vs. Israel. The goal was to create a wedge between the Arab countries and the democratic nations of the west. The Soviet Union supplied most of the military equipment to those nations (& terrorists) most hostile towards Israel in the 1960-1990 era, such as to: Egypt, Syria, Iraq, & Libya.
Everybody chose sides, during the Cold War. Egypt and Syria were Soviet allies, while Turkey, Israel, and Iran were US allies (this was, of course, before the revolution in which Iran became an anti-American theocracy). When Russia invaded Afghanistan, the US aided the mujaheddin.
The United States fought in more than two places during the Cold War, but the two big ones were Korea and Vietnam.
North Korea & North Vietnam.
Persian, Greek, and ACHOO, sorry, cold Persian, Greek and Sparta.
the difference between Egypt and north pole is that Egypt is hot and in the north pole it is cold.
It's a stretch to say that they were aligned with the Soviet Union - after the Yom Kippur War, Egypt actually aligned itself with the United States. But they were a Soviet client state because the Soviet Union decided to back the Arab militaries, as opposed to the United States, which backed Israel. But there was no actual alliance between Egypt and the Soviet Union, and neither one had any obligation to defend the other in the event of a war.
