The C.I.A. (Then G-2 ) answer to the Girl from St.Petersburg. let us use this syloggism, I believe it is spelled right. Irene Craigmile (she has another name) is to Amelia Earhart as is Anna Anderson is to HIH Anastasia Romanov, or Nicolaievna which is more proper, actually to call Her higness ( Anastasia Romanov) is an errors as bad as referring to Queen Elizabeth II as (Betty Windsor) show some respect for the royal house! Irene is to Amelia as Anna Anderson is to Anastasia R. So Be it! Maybe not the best sign-off, sounds like, welll.
Robert G. Putnam has written: 'A geography of urban places' -- subject(s): Addresses, essays, lectures, Cities and towns, Urbanization 'Down to earth' -- subject(s): Biography, Geographers
No one knows for sure why Amelia Earhart went missing but she went on a flight around the world and disappeared. Amelia went missing because they could not find the small island they were to land on. Fuel was short and the radio wasn't working properly.
No.
Amelia Earhart actually owned 4 aircraft. - Her first was in 1921, A Kinner Airster in bright yellow that she named 'Canary'. - Her second was an Avro Avian lll bought while she was in England after her first flight across the Atlantic. This was identified as G-EBUG and given the designation '7083' in the USA. As far as we know she did not name it. - Her third was a Lockheed Vega 5B in bright red, which she named 'Little Red Bus' and often referred to as 'Old Bessie'. - Her fourth owned aircraft was of course the Lockheed Electra 10 that she made her final flight in. There was no name of this aircraft.
