During WW II, Germany attacked Britain, and Britain retaliated. That's what happens in times of war. You bomb me, and I'll bomb you. Fortunately all of that is over, and Britain and Germany are good friends in the 21st century.

Yes. Many men died fighting Germany in WW2. Every night Hitler sent rockets into London to bomb the city and Royal Air Force pilots fought the Battle of Britain ( you can see real film of these things). The British, Scottish, and Welsh were very brave in fighting Germany with the allies.

Why was outcomeing of the battle of Britain important for the allies?

The outcome of the Battle of Britain was important for the Allies because it was Germany's attempt to either bomb Britain into submission, or completely destroy its Air Force in order to conduct an amphibious assault on British shores. This would have removed the last resistance to Hitler in Europe, allowing him to focus all of his forces on Russia in the east.
