Great Britain had already deposed its last autocratic monarch in 1688. The British ruling classes' grip on the army ensured that despite political yearnings for change, no wholesale 2nd revolution took place.
To some extent they did, though like everything England likes to do things half way.
The Civil War was fought between 1642-1651 and ended with the execution of Charles I and the exile of his family.
However the English then brought back Charles II after Cromwell (who had led the commonwealth) died.
But slowly after the King's return more and more power was transferred from the ground to Parliament, until the monarchy was left only as a ceremonial figurehead.
Great Britain already had a somewhat developed democracy, and was continuing to improve during the revolutions of 1848. Additionally, the rich British elites seemed more willing for change than those of the other countries, resulting in more acceptance by the public.
It was also called the Glorious Revolution.

England had quite the impact on a revolution that took place quite a distance from their borders. England's role in the Russian revolution was family based. The English King George was cousins with the Russian Czar Nicholas II.
