The answer is Guru Nanak. He combined Islam and Hinduism to make Sikhism. Answer 2 The Sikh religion was founded by Guru (Teacher) Nanak in the form of ten Gurus - 1469 to 1708 in India. The tenth Master, Guru Gobind Singh ended the personal Guruship and proclaimed Guru Granth Sahib (Holy Scripture) as the last Guru (Teacher) for ever.

Guru Nanak became guru because, he believed in one god and that Muslims and Hindus should not be separated and should be united instead. He went missing for 3 days at the age of 30 and was found that he was on the lake talking to god. God gave him the role in life to be a guru. His first words when he came out of the river were: 'god is neither Muslim or hindu' and that is how guru Nanak became guru.
Guru Nanak believes in One God who has infinite names and qualities and who is the same for all religions. Guru Nanak believes in equality of all human beings irrespective of color, gender, origin, race etc. Guru Nanak believes in inward devotion to God through one's heart rather than external rituals and ceremonies. Sikhs don't have any religious leader nor do they have any priestly class for performing religious functions. At their place of worship which is Gurudwara, there is usually a person who act as more of a care taker than being a religious leader. That person is usually called Granthi or Bhaji. Sikhs do have what they call Akal Takhat where they do make religious decision. The head of Akal Takhat is called Jethadar. But its more of an organisation where people make decision after discussion and sometimes even arguments. But as such there is no religious leader.
Guru Nanak was forced into Hinduism which he didnt believe in he was then spoke to by god and believed he could make a difference in life and discovered a path between to religions to form another (Sikhism)
