Jazz was killed off to try to make the veiwers more into the movie and if no one on both sides died then there would be no point seeing the movie. He might even be rebuilt for Transformers 2 ( he was not Skids and Mudflap were added as a Jazz tribute). But Pontiac is going to be shut down by GM! There's no point he makes a comeback...
