Hannah Goslar (Lies) was Anne's oldest and closest friend most of her life. In the last few months of Anne's freedom, she had become "best" friends with Jacqueline van Maarsen. In hiding, Anne had a vivid dream about seeing Lies in a prison camp in rags that deeply troubled her. This was probably due at least in part to guilt - she had somewhat ignored Lies for several months during the time she was very close to Jackie. Even Anne's writing in the diary about the dream shows this.
Multiple people now do. If you go to holland the annex is now a museum and her diaries may be viewed there through a glass case
Miep Gies and Jan Gies helped hide Anne Frank and her family in a secret annex in Amsterdam during the Holocaust. They provided them with food, supplies, and emotional support, risking their lives to keep them safe from the Nazis. After the Franks were discovered and deported, Miep saved Anne's diary and returned it to her father after the war.
Anne Frank's parents, Otto and Edith, told people they were going to Switzerland to keep their plans of going into hiding a secret. By pretending to leave the country, they hoped to avoid suspicion and make their escape to the secret annex where they would hide during the Holocaust.
By most accounts, Otto Frank saw his daughter's diary as a way to keep her spirit and her memory alive, even though the Nazis had murdered her. He believed the world needed to know what his family had experienced, and he also believed that Anne's words would make the story more real to anyone who read it.
they had to keep totally quiet from about 8 am to 6 pm. they could only walk in socked feet and could not run water or use the toilet until everyone below left. At night they were free to talk and use the toilet but still had to keep it down in case someone outside heard

Anne did this to have comfort in all the hardships in her troubled life.
he's just not sure what he wants
Anne was never allowed to make a noise in hiding because, if she did, they could've gotten caught. so, she couldn't do anything that makes a noise, like, flushing a toilet. none of them were allowed to go outside either. so, Anne had barely nothing to do. she wrote in her diary to keep her company, and for something to do.
