WARNING edit to my previous reply; It depends on the temperature of the straighteners/ flat irons! - My older straighteners have no temperature gauge ('Nicky Clarke NCS19 Slim Ceramic') - an online review suggests they're 100c /212F, not sure that's correct but they're PERFECT for Bratzillaz /Bratz & MLPony hair, & also M'High /Ever After hair if you quickly glide them; if you linger you feel the hair 'softening'; apparently Mattel hair has a lower melting point than MGA /Hasbro. (Mattel also have the *awful* hair-glue issue :( I'd assumed ALL straighteners were the same until I used some mini crimpers on a Bratz & the (thankfully tiny) section literally fried-! :o - So you need straighteners / flat irons at the 'right', not too high, temperature. I'm *guessing* around 100c /212F? (My previous reply: Alexander' hair is SARAN? (like Mattel's M'High, Ever After +Brbie) Melting temp: 320F/160C - lower then NYLON - (MGA's Bratzillaz - Except Fianna Fins!! - Bratz, & Hasbro' MLP manes) I've straightened both types successfully but it does feel safer with Nylon! Don't linger on 1 area too long-!)
