Why did Max Factor discontinue Shimmering Beige Whipped Creme foundation?

Because the shimmering particles in the make-up were gold flecks and it got so expensive that they could not afford to sell it for the cost that they were previously. That is why it now sells for $300 for a 1.2 fl. oz. container. I used this product for over 40 years, and it is sad that I can not afford to buy it now.
