There are actually many reasons why she hated the knights of the round table. For one, Lancelot spurned her when she went after him. Another was because King Arthur killed one of her lovers. She also sought to make herself ruler of Camelot.
This is the exact opposite of the Magic Tree House books! The magic tree house books portray that she likes them! Don't believe those books!!

Fay claimed that Germany was too readily blamed for the war and that a great deal of the responsibility instead rested with the Allies, especially Russia and Serbia. A German factory worker would probably agree with Fay claiming that other countries were the cause of the war.

Morgan le Fay, a powerful sorceress in Arthurian legend, is typically associated with the magical island of Avalon. She is often depicted as ruling over Avalon as its queen and using her magical abilities to influence the events surrounding King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.
Okay - here's the thing....there is quite a debate over her existence. Many say that because there are no solid records that there ever was a King Arthur or the Knights of the round table that they can't possibly exist. On the other hand, there are people like me who believe they existed, but their tales have been warped and twisted by the hands of time. So really, it depends on what you think is logical. The Arthurian legend doesn't add up because of it's dates and records, but that is all. But Morgan Le Fay's existence and the Round Table has been documented in many manuscriopts across the world, and some say the table which hangs in an old castle (I forgot where it is! SORRY!) is the Round Table. Personally, I think there is too much documented proof that she/they existed, and many family trees date back to names like such from around the AD800-AD1200. For instance, my family dates back to old England, and we had a Morgan Le Fay in my family tree, which is who I am named after. And all the other names match up - but whether she was a witch or not - I don't know. So it is up to you - there are two very convincing arguements there. Good luck in your decision! Morgan, 13
