Muhammad Ali is a supporter of Black rights. In his day, Blacks were discriminated against and downtrodden. The Black Power movement sought to encourage Blacks to be confident, to reject traditional Christianity which collaborated with the oppressor, and to develop goals and attitudes of their own, not just from the fear of whites.
