Ronald Reagan, the 40th President of the US, died on June 5, 2004 of pneumonia. After leaving office in 1989, he increasingly suffered from the effects of Alzheimer's Disease. He was 93 years old. (Only Gerald Ford, the 38th President, was older when he died.)
