It was probably decided that this question adds no value to WikiAnswers because no one really knows what it takes to become famous; most of it is luck.

What is legitimate to WikiAnswers is for WikiAnswers to decide. That being said, any link that does not conform for one reason or the other to the rules of contributing, or the Terms of Use are not legitimate. Those deemed so will not be permitted to remain when they are discovered. Additionally, links that are not attached properly (added as a related link through the function in the blue menu area to the left) will also be removed.

Not usually, no. It all depends on the intent of what you are saying. If you are asking a legitimate question or giving a legitimate answer then there is no reason to be issued a warning. If you are however using the word to attack someone then a supervisor may decide at that point to warn you.

It's not WikiAnswers fault that no one has yet seen fit to answer your question ! It's not a 'live' website - you simply need to have the patience to wait for someone to see your question, and for them to decide to answer it.

Why did you decide to go on WikiAnswers?
Glad you asked! Though people have different reasons, my experience is pretty common. I asked a question in Google search and WikiAnswers was one of the search results. I asked my question on the site and while I was waiting for the answer, I started answering questions. My question was answered pretty fast, but by then I was totally hooked on the site. That was in 2006 and I've been here since.
Why can't WikiAnswers answer all your questions?
It depends when someone gets around to it. There are a lot of questions people have asked, and you have to hope someone goes to a certain category, and then to a certain question, and then knows the answer to that question. Like I did with your question. I browsed "New questions,"earlier, and now I'm browsing "Questions about WikiAnswers.Sometimes WikiAnswers can't answer all of your questions because real people at home on their computer can just decide to answer a question and maybe not want to answer the question you have asked.
