Because he was an idiot.
Just one. William 1 (the conqueror.
William expected to be richer and more powerful than just from being Duke of Normandy, and the subservience of the people.
Because he CONQUERED England. "Conqueror" is just a nick-name that stuck :) Like Edward I - Longshanks XD
The Magna Carta limited the power of absolute monarchy, while William the Conqueror's invasion had expanded it.
William I, also known as William the Conqueror was the first Norman King of England was also Duke of Normandy under the name William II.
William the conqueror's plan to win the battle of Hastings was... He and his troops pretended to walk away and the English thought that it would be a great chance to attack HOWEVER, the Normans turned around and killed the Saxons. And Harold died by getting shot with a spear just above the right eye. Therefore the Normans won.
They spoke French.William the conqueror spoke FrenchHe spoke Norman French, which was rather different from most other varieties of French at the time.Norman French.William the Conqueror (William I) came from Gaul (which is France now) and most certainly spoke a language known as Anglo-Norman. Anglo-Norman, along with contributions from Germanic languages, eventually became Old English (Beowulf), which became Middle English (Chaucer) and then Modern English (Shakespeare on). The Williams which came after William I spoke the language prevalent in England when they ruled-one of the languages I just described.
King William I (William the conqueror) didn't only build one castle, he built many castles all over England. Here is a list of just a few castles he built back in the 11th century:Warwick CastleLincoln castleDover castleRochester castleThere were many more castles that were built by King William during his reign which ended in 1087.Yes and Ripley castle was one of those but William did not live in Ripley castle because it to near Harogate.
Yes i just researched this and it is built on a hill so i think that it makes it a motte and bailey as it was built between 1066 and 1087. ( when William the conqueror was in reign).
They're the same armours, just one's the abbreviation of the other.
The Deathbrand set is just an enchanted set of heavy Stahlrim armour.
A 'cuirass' is the name for the armour that covers the chest and the back of the wearer. Other pieces of armour have different names, there isn't a collective name for 'just' torso, shoulder, arm and head armour. In RuneScape, the upper half of armor is known as the "Platebody" or "Chainbody". The Platebody is relatively more expensive, but stronger than the Chainbody. It is also heavier as it collects more weight.
