Why did ancient Greeks fight each other?

For the same reason we have conflict any where else -- humans are imperfect and sinful beings and so don't always get along. There is always somebody trying to take advantage of somebody else.

The Greek world was made up of hundreds of independent city-states, each of which had its own land, laws and government, and army to protect them. The city-states had disputes with each other over land and other resources, and fought over these disputes. They often formed leagues when the disputes were over wider disagreements than just city on city.

In defence of their land, citizens were raised to be part time soldiers and so provided the basic setting for semi-continuous wars, great and small. Over-population added to pressures to acquire more land, resources and trade at their neighbours' expense.

Each independent city-state had its own interests which it was jealous to protect. Neighbours infringed and brought on war. Groups of city-states formed leagues to protect common interests, but these dissolved when dissent broke out amongst then, and cities shifted to other leagues which suited them for the time being.
