Why did betta fish water turn red Have been changing it every other day.?

It probably means that one (or some) of the decorations in your tank/bowl have dyes on them that are getting rinsed off. The next time you clean your tank/bowl try rinsing them off until all the dye is gone or, better yet don't put in any decorations that have dye, just put in real plants and others. If it isn't that I don't really know what could cause it. You might want to go to your local fish shop to ask what's wrong too.

(Bettas are 3 gallon fish no matter what the profiteers say) Every tank needs a permanently running filter. :- Every tank need to have at least 50% of its water changed every week. If your Betta is kept in the above conditions it will be OK. Any less water or the lack of a filter and the required water changes and I can guarantee it is only a matter of time before your Betta gets very sick and dies.

You should use a conditioner with that water (mine came with Nutrafin Betta Bowl Water Conditioner). I also make 20% of it HBH Betta H2O, which can be bought in bottles.
