Come on! this stuff is not real- Titanic and depression were, but there is no connection between these events, other than both are depressive.

In the movie they are too busy looking at Jack and Rose kissing to notice the iceberg until it was too late to warn the bridge in time to avoid a collision. First Officer William Murdock probably died of natural causes. In the film, he takes a bribe from Cal, then gives Cal's money back to him, and kills himself, just like Judas Iscariot is supposed to have done (taken a bribe, give the bribe back, then killed himself).

On its way there the ship almost had a collision with another ship liner but luckily survived. at 11:40 pm Titanic struck a ice berg. The ship was doomed. at 2:20 am April 15th 1912 the ship went under in the waters of the Atlantic taking 1518 souls with it. there was only 16 lifeboats which was enough for half the passengers. Women and children were the crews main priority. Captain E.J smith went down with the ship since this was his last ship he was going to sail. Only 706 souls survived that day. in 2009 the last survivor died who was on board and she was 2 months old. This day in history will never to be forgotten
