Kronos was the Father of the 6 original gods (Zeus, Hera, Hestia, Demeter, Poseidon, and Hades) Kronos ate most of the gods because of a prophecy foretold by Gaea (a.k.a. Earth) that his children would rise above him just as he had done with his father, Uranus, but Zeus stayed alive. The Titans and the gods battle in a war called the Titnomancy. in the end, the gods won and Zeus, with the help of his brothers, put Kronos in Tartorus, the lowest place you can go in the Underworld. Clearly You can see why he didn't get an invitation to go on Mt. Olympus.
