Why did my pap smear come back normal But my ultra sound detected some kind of growth If everything is norma why is my doctor sending me to another doctor for further testing?

The pap smear picks up on abnormalities in the cells while the ultrasound can see if anything looks like it shouldn't. So since the pap smear haven't picked up on it but it looks like something is up they need a second opinion so they are not missing anything. Ultrasounds are not the easiest to see the small differences in.
