Apatosaurus was an herbivorous diplodocidsauropod. There are three accepted species Apatosaurus ajax, Apatosaurus louisae, and Apatosaurusparvus. Brontosaurus execelcus was first though to be its own genus, than it was moved to Apatosaurus for a while, but paleontologists including Robert T. Bakker relized that several differences in the skull, means that Brontosaurus is once again a valid genus
it moved by walking and traveling on 4 feet.but it was kind of slow so it couldn't outrun some other dinosurs
Brontosaurus is an invalid name for Apatosaurus excelsus. Apatosaurus was a sauropod, and like all sauropods, it walked on four legs. However, very young Apatosaurus could run on two legs like a basilisk lizard to escape danger.
Fossil footprints can tell us how the animal moved. The stride length, or the distance between two footprints, tell how fast the animal moved. The longer the stride length, the faster the movement was. Footprints give clues about the animal's weight. The deeper the footprint, the heavier the animal would have been. The size and shape of teeth tell us what kind of food the animal ate, which can give clues about where the animal lived. Animals that ate fish would have lived in or near water, for example. The type of rock the fossils were found in tell us what kind of ground the animal walked on. Scientists learn more about extinct animals by studying live animals and using computer models and simulations. They study living animals to see how their muscles move and how their bones fit together. Computer models and simulations help scientists test their ideas, for example about how fast an animal might be able to run.

Tell scientist from where and how the glaciers has moved
Information is moved around within a computer by being encoded in the form of bits and being transferred via data buses.
scientist thought someone moved it
because he had no evidence that the plates had moved so nobody belevied him
He could not prove how they moved he died before they considered his hypothesis
