(i am 13 got this from my Social Studies class) The 13 colonies were angry at the British because They were taxing them greatly for one, another they did not let the colonies be free and the colonies wanted to break free. For example The Boston Tea Party

The colonies where upset because the King taxed them without represantation and this endangered their rights. -Sage
