The public justification is that the fall of a large company like Bear Stearns could cause a ripple effect that would take down other companies, perhaps the entire American economy. Many Americans are skeptical of this reasoning, suspecting that perhaps bribery of various members of Congress and their staffs is the more likely motivation for such massive assistance. In truth, no one knows what would happen if a firm as large as Bear Stearns collapsed. The only way to truly know would be to let it happen, and since there is the strong possibility of a "ripple effect," it would seem prudent to avoid an experiment of that nature.
An American bail bond is the act of paying a jail a certain amount of money to release someone who has been arrested. The condition is that if any court dates are needed the bail bondsman will find the person who was arrested if they skip court. There is also a bail bonds company from Longview, Texas called American Bail Bonds (although this question specifically asks about American bail bond and not American Bail Bonds).
The government bailed out all major American car companies except for Ford. Chrysler and GMC both got significant bailouts.

It is NOT the government's concern. We as a people have to re-learn how to be responsible for our own actions. The government is not there to bail people out, although they often break the rules.
By stabilizing our own economy the government invested in the country, as well as rescued the economy with tax payers' money, i.e. government bail-outs.
