The Boston Tea Party was an act of terrorism by America colonials against the British. The British would not allow the colonials to buy tea from anyone but them, and then they raised the tax on tea to an unsupportable level. Finally, in frustration, a small group of colonials dressed as American Indians protested these British action by raiding the British tea storehouse in Boston, siezing the crates of tea, and throwing them into the sea.
