Well, there are a few points to consider here, but i think that the major point was that they had some things that they needed to blame someone for. As the Jews had no one to protect them, it was easy to blame them.

Answer 1

The first thing to note is that the conception of Jesus being a truly flesh-and-blood human who was a product of his place and time is a sentiment that has developed since World War II. While that does not change the fact that he was born to a Jewish family, as the Son of God, he was seen as a completely distinct entity who did not have the tincture of being "a Jew".

The second things worth noting is that Jesus was quite aberrant as a Jew and the Christian narrative had the Jews reviling him to such an extent that they would rather he die than an actual murderer. As a result, Jesus' "goodness" and "decency" could not have come from his Jewish environment, which was inherently wicked, in this view.

Finally, most Nazis simply did not give it much thought. They already believed quite fervently that Jews were degenerates. They weren't trying to question these strongly-held beliefs.

Answer 2

The above is generally correct however, the important thing to remember is that the Nazi ideology was profoundly atheistic and anti-Judeo/Christian at its core. Although, the German population was predominately of a Christian heritage, the people were very slow to see the threat to their Christian beliefs. The Nazis had originally appealed to some tenants of the Christian faith to gain electoral support in the short years before the Nazis gain power and ended elections. From the contemporary Christian point-of-view, Adolf Hitler (leader of the Nazi party) was actually in the role of an "Anti-Christ". As time went on in Germany, the Nazis increased their persecution of Christian leaders that spoke out against the Nazis. The long-term plan of the Nazis for Europe, was the eventual displacement of the Christian culture (& Churches) and its replacement with a social-Darwinism belief system that would have fundamentally altered current moral norms, and placed Hitler in the position of a god-like Germanic/Aryan hero. Adolf Hitler, although raised as a Catholic child, was not a practicing Catholic and actually despised the Church.

How were a few Nazis able to control thousands of Jews?

They use guns and torture to control the Jews. If the Jews did not cooperate, they were shot and killed, their homes invaded and destroyed. Because the Nazis deprived the Jews of their weapons and protection, they could horde the Jews to concentration camps. The Jews could not fight back because they had no weapons and would be killed before they got their hands on the Nazi soldier. Outposts were set up and it was frequent that the Nazis patrolled the streets of Warsaw and other Jewish areas. The Jews were under Nazi governing and rules that regulated only to Jews. If a non-Jew noticed a Jew was disobeying the Nazi law, like sitting on a non-Jew bench, the Jew will be reported. Punishments include whipping, caning, deprivation of basic needs, or death. (Hanging, gas chamber, knife, gun, etc...) The Jews were afraid of their life. Some were rebellious and were killed by the Nazis or non-Jews. However, the Nazis did hire Jews to assault Jews. These Jewish traitors kept control in small provinces, but did some of the Nazis' dirty work. These Jewish traitors carry clubs and clubbed other Jews if they felt like it, or if the Jew was doing something that went against the Nazi laws.
