Because when the White Man took the lands of the Free Peoples and killed them and their families, the White Man had greater weapons.

When the Settlers fought amoungst themselves, we took the chance to take back what was ours. Few triumphed, but those that did not indulge in victory for long.

After the end of the Civil War, the White Man betrayed us and broke all our treaties. Many died.
