No one is quite sure why the Neanderthals died out. Possible climate change, possibly they couldn't compete with Cro-Magnon.
Cro-magnon were pretty much modern humans who lived (among other places) in the far north (the steppes of Europe and Asia) hunting mammoths an such like. Since they date from 40000 to 60000 years ago, they were living during the last ice ages.
The Cro-Magnon never died out. They evolved into modern Europeans.
They can last longer because they are said to have areas in their body (humps) that can adsorb the water in the air (humidity).
The most likely scenario is a cro magnon human after the last ice age. He/She is not know by name.
Cro-magnon or homo sapiens sapiens. By the end of the last ice age, we had evolved (as best we can tell) into the form we currently have.
Cro-Magnon man, more properly known as Homo sapiens or Anatomically Modern Humans, lived during the last ice age in what is now Europe, most notably in the area of modern day France. Cro-Magnons knew how to make many different tools and weapons, and wore sewn clothes decorated with bone and shell jewelry and ornaments. They were taller and less muscular as their cousin subspecies the Neanderthals that originally inhabitated those colder regions.
From my understanding Cro-Magnon did not die off. We are the modern version of the Cro-Magnon. Cro-Magnon's are Homo sapiens. Yes that might be true but they did die off cro magnons were Nazis Hitler was tha last The cro magnon are probably still alive because the first answer is very accurate i believe cuz we r a an evolution of cro magnon
