Millsberry, free website for all to play, has recently shut down. The reason was that Millsberry wasn't making much of a profit, many users didn't use it any longer, and their cereal sponsors weren't making a profit either. For the 6 years that Millsberry was open, us citizens all enjoyed it greatly. It will deffinately be a site that will be missed.

∙ 11y agoMillsberry, although was very popular a few years ago, had greatly lost popularity as it got older. General Mills was not making money off of the website and, in my personal opinion, closed it down because of this. Many members decided to email them in great concern but many did not receive a reply. I am one of these people.
As a result, many forums that were in great support to the website were forced to close down; websites such as MillsberryForum.com and MillsberryForum.org.
Many members tried to form a petition but these many members have also had no success. I am afraid to say that the website will not be returning. I'm as disappointed as you possibly are. Being a long-term member of the website, I was greatly saddened by this movement chosen by General Mills.

∙ 10y agoThe closure of Millsberry was simply a matter of economics. Despite the company investing a considerable amount of time and money into the product, the revenues from users remained low. As a result there was no financial incentive to keep the site up and running.
