Welcome to the world-- This thing works both ways.--I guess this is where the phrase actions speak louder than words, comes from. Many / most dating age folks have a short attention span. Then we have another phrase: so many men; so little time.-- That also works in reverse for guys.

∙ 14y agoDon't act like you are intimidated by her...even if you are. Girls like guys who are confident (but not cocky) and will "sweep them off their feet." Girls like to be chased, but don't take that as a creeper way and stalk her. I would text her again and say something joking/flirting. Something that pertains to the occasion you saw her. She obviously knows she gave you her number and told you to it. Don't be boring and say the casual "Hey" or "What's up." Be different. Be fun. Make her smile. Say a fact, something that doesn't require a response. If you have never met her besides that time say something like "There was this really beautiful girl, I don't know who she is but she gave me this number. I really want to get to know her" <--you know, something like that
And when you text her that first time, don't overwhelm her. Have a short conversation and then say you are busy. Girls like guys who have a life and are mysterious. Good luck!! :)
