A good coach will advice you to do voluntary deep breathing to make you comfortable. This will burn lactic acid and pyruvic acid from your body at faster rate.
because when they're running the heart has to pump blood faster to power the body. the heart must pump very fast and it takes a minute to slow down.
Breathing is when your body is getting oxygen to your cells. When you are physically active your cells use the oxygen faster so you have to breathe faster to get the same amount of oxygen to your cells
It is easier to breathe in this position, they are trying to replace the oxygen in their blood that was used to make their muscles perform at their peak which exhausts they oxygen enriched blood. This is why you breathe deeper and/or faster while running.
Because the lighter they are, the faster the horses can go. Imagine running a race with a small child on your back. You'd be much faster than if you ran a race with an adult on your back.
Because in 100m they start still whereas in the relay they are already running.. If they started the 100m in a running position, it would be a lot faster
when running move arms quicker to run a bit faster, start it slow, by taking easy breaths the faster you move the quicker you will breath
breathe like a dog
I am not 100% certain ( just to let you know ) , but I think it is the fact when you run your heart and lungs work faster and trying to get oxygen and after you run your body is still trying to get the oxygen and then it slowly goes away Hope this helped :S
yes, it does!
For some short distance races you put all energy into running so you go faster, but in long distance and you all energy into running, then you would be out of breath or extremely tired faster. It's in your perspective.
Doing just that. If you want to race or run faster, you have to train faster. So if you want to run faster in a particular distance, you have to kick your training up to a higher level (This means run faster).
