Sounds like an ABS related problem, but I can't help any more than that.
The most common cause of that is the front brake rotors are out of round / warped. Replace rotors are have them turned.
it could be that your brake discs are completely warped. so you might just need brake repairs made on your vehicle.
Possibly coming from a leaking brake cylinder. Top up fluid and take to a brake shop ASAP.

Brake pads are worn out=========Replace.
If your brake light is not coming on, you might have blown a fuse. You might also have a bulb that is no longer working.
Contaminated brake fluid.Rusted, rotted brake lines.
Your brake pads may need to be replaced, or your rotors may be "Pitted" and may need to be "Turned"
It's probably brake pads.
air coming out of the brake lines... that is if its a truck. if you aply the parking brake.
To help eliminate brake dust from happening you can replace the brake pads with a semi-metallic or ceramic brake pad this will reduce noise and brake dust.
Does this happen when you come to a complete stop or while you are coming to a stop? Is this Truck Automatic or Standard? Brake booster could be something, Torque Converter Clutch Valve not disengaging(Automatic).
