When my battery kept dying on mines I have the same make and model. First I kept getting it recharged it still kept dying then I got someone to look at it and it was my alternator when I replaced that it did just fine.
sounds like the fuel sensor is the problem
check the coolant
If your engin light also is on, you need new oxigen sensors!
check the water pump
You take it to Walmart and buy a new battery. They will replace it for free.
just undo the battery but when new one is installed you will have to reporgam the sunroof an the windows
Car alarm in Lexus ES300 started going off at random when car was parked, not running. I changed the key fob battery (flat watch battery) with a new battery and it fixed the problem.
The new alternator is bad happens all the time.
disconnect the wires that connect to the battery marked either in black and red or a - and +, then if there any clamps where the battery is sitting unscrew those as well. Then reverse order to put new battery in
I have fit a v8 Lexus ls400 motor in one. I had to oder a bell house out of astralia so as to bolt it up to the grear box and weld on a new engine mount but it was worth it .
yes, but you need an adapter that plugs into the cigarette lighter. attached to the adapter is a 9volt battery. plug that into the lighter before disconnecting the cables to the car battery. that adapter w/ the 9 volt battery attached to it will keep just enough voltage in the cars computer system to allow you to change the cars battery. w/o that adapter when you disconnect the old battery and reconnect the new battery the cars onboard computer system will default and blow several fuses. go to an auto parts store and rent the adapter for a few bucks.
This is a common issue with Lexus, mainly with the older LS400's. Basically, the instrument cluster needs to be replaced, this can only be done through Lexus. A new cluster to be installed including labor will run anywhere from $750 - $1000. If you can find an instrument cluster at a salvage yard, Lexus will send it off to match the mileage from the original cluster, then install it for 2 - 3 hours of labor cost.
