Dumbledore heard them coming and used the last few second to immobilise Harry, the Death Eaters then entered and he was disarmed.
Draco Malfoy, Amycus Carrow, Alecto Carrow, Fenrir Greyback, Severus Snape, and Yaxley
Tonks. Albus Dumbledore.
snape does because death eaters take over the school
In the Harry Potter books, Albus Dumbledore is the headmaster and Minerva McGongall was the deputy headmistress. Twice during the series, McGongall became acting headmistress, once in the 1992-1993 school year when Dumbledore was removed by the Board of Governors and once in the 1996-19997 school year after his death. In the 1997-1998 Severus Snape was appointed as the headmaster. It is not known who filled the position after that, although J.K Rowling has stated that it was not McGongall.
Albus Dumbledore dueled Gellert Grindelwald to gain possession of the Elder Wand. He won that duel, Grindelwald was imprisoned, and Dumbledore kept the wand until his death.
He runs along with the death eaters.
Albus Dumbledore tells Harry that "death is but the next great adventure". He says this because Harry cannot understand why Nicolas and Perenelle Flamel made the decision to destroy the philosopher's stone as it meant they would die. Dumbledore explains that when you have lived as long as them, death isn't to be feared.
No, only Dumbledore knew this until Harry watched his memories. Many questioned why Dumbledore trusted Snape because they didn't know. Severus Snape was a member of Voldemort Death Eaters during the First Wizarding War, however after accidently making Lily Potter (the woman Snape is in love with and Harry Potter's mother) Voldemort's target, he switches sides. He works as a Double Agent for the Order of the Phoenix after asking Albus Dumbledore to protect the Potters. All the information he gives the Death Eaters are things Dumbledore has told him to tell. He of course tells the Order everything the Death Eaters are doing.
This answer depends on WHICH Dumbledore you are referring to. There is in fact two Dumbledores who appear in The Deathly Hallows. Aberforth Dumbledore is Albus Dumbledore's brother. He is first introduced when he sends Dobby to help Harry and friends out of a sticky situation. He also gives Harry and friends a place to hide from Death Eaters and shows them a way back into Hogwarts. Albus reappears in the story as well, but simply as somewhat of a ghost or hallucination. He is simply there to answer questions that seemed to be left up in the air at the beginning of the novel.
After Percival Dumbledore was imprisoned for this attack on the muggle boys, the Dumbledore family (consisting of Kendra, Albus, Aberforth and Ariana) moved to Godric's Hollow - right beside Bathilda Bagshot. After the death of his mother Albus was forced to look after his brother and sister. That was when Bagshot's nephew, Gellert Grindlewald, came to visit and became fast friends with Dumbledore.
Not really. Severus Snape joined the Death Eaters out of school. When he learned that Voldemort was going to kill the only woman he ever loved, Lily (Evans) Potter, he changed sides. Snape promised Dumbledore that he would convince Voldemort he was spying on the Order of the Phoenix for the Death Eaters. Really, he was spying on the Death Eaters for the Order and only passing selected information to the Death Eaters.
Yes, once he discovered Voldemort was going to kill the only woman he ever loved, Lily Evans, he went to Dumbledore and in return for their protection joined the Order of the Phoenix. Snape told Voldemort he was a Death Eater spying on the Order. In reality, he was an Order member spying on the Death Eaters and only telling Voldemort selective information.
