Why didn't the Allied Powers who knew that mass killings were taking place focus their firepower on the ovens and the killing operations?

While destroying the overs and stuff would be wonderful public relations, it wouldn't change the number of killings; it would only change the methods. Only by concentrating efforts on military targets and forcing an end to the war could the killings actually be stopped.
