Why didn't the Indians fight back when they were told to move?

They did... But, due to most of them dying off from European disease and battles. (Europeans were quite disease ridden at the time) They were outnumbered and loss a great amount of land. If they fought back earlier, they could have scared the Europeans off but, alas they were too late. Some tried to negotiate peace and others fought back. Europeans took there land and killed a great deal of them off.
