I know of no evidence to suggest that Australians as a people act as mercenary soldiers any more or less than mercenary soldiers from any other nation, and probably less than most. The exception is UN troops, as Australia is a member of the UN. UN troops go where they are sent - they understand that going in.

It has tended to fight other countries' wars, which is similar to other ex-colonies. But whereas other colonies have come to distance themselves from being steered into wars which do not affect them, Australia has switched to following US wars and commitments, partly as the price of the ANZUS alliance which theoretically give the promise of US protection.
Nations have the right to fight in wars if they legally declare war upon whomever it is that is their enemies. The United Nations was formed to resolve problems and prevent wars however.
In Mafia Wars you can fight other mafias and once you fight a mafia enough you can take them out or in other words "whack" them.
most wars do start because of religion, but there would probably still be a few wars, but not as many. countries would find other reeasons to fight or they would hust try to take over other countries and stuff like that
