The ones with satanic lyrics are satanic. The Rock Music style has been widely used in churches in recent decades, with much credit to Graham Kendric.
UPDATE: heres a reality check for the above answerer..most bands who play satanic themed music are not satanic at all, it's just a theme. Only a few bands have ever said they are satanic e.g. Deicide, 1 member of Slayer Kerry King Guitarist, (the Bass player/singer Tom Araya is a christian at heart So please get your facts right before you judge other people..by the way isn't judging other people unchristian behaviour?) That's why i believe a lot of christians are hippocrates. My friends are a christian Death Metal band with several albums to their name check 'em out they are called Mortification. And I'm not a snotty-nosed pimple-faced teenager. I'm over 50. I've never sacrificed anything for any reason, and I'm not a christian I'm an Agnostic because I'm intelligent and I know better, enough said.

it's the lyrics that counts though for me...
most rock and Goth has satanic themes, (I'm ok with death themes but that's 50 50 boarder line for me though), that really is a taboo for us as it promotes worship with Satan and Idols which is definitely against our purpose of promoting and spreading the good news...
if you worship Satan in a balad or rap or other type of music then that wouldn't make a difference. we'll definitely hate you too.
