Why do Christians believe it is ok to lie as long as it is for Jesus?

'Genuine' Christians do NOT condone lying - - only psuedo-Christians lie.
For example: Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians - - yet they do NOT tell their children that 'Santa brings gifts'. We realize that most people who 'call themselves' Christians consider it ok to tell their children such a lie - - but GENUINE Christians would never do such a thing; they do not wink at such lying.
Jesus stated that our 'yes' should - mean yes; and that our 'no' - should mean no. In other words, --- tell the truth is what Jesus was saying. Don't be deceptive. Don't tell people one thing, then tell them another thing.

Do you believe in Him forgiving your sins, if you do then you have a relationship with Him. You can know so, since, if you are doing what He commands -the first of which is to believe in Him, then He promises to be with you, and He cannot lie. Thus the assurance rests solidly in His word.
