Why do Christians believe that there's a haven and hell?
I am a christian and it's our belief but you go to heaven if you are saved by god which you can do by getting baptized or just saying a special prayer which is what i did and there is a hell for people that are mean and cruel to other people and dont get saved but in heaven you live forever you dont have to agree with me but thats a christians belief

Assuming that there is a God and while on earth you didn't believe in him. You would by some christian faiths go to hell. Other christian faiths such as Roman Catholicism, would say anyone who has led a good life is worthy of going to heaven not hell. Remember, through showing love to those around us, you demonstrate your love towards God for he was the one who made us. If God exists, and if hell exists, and God says that those who don't believe in him go to hell*, and you don't believe in God, then you will go to hell; regardless of whether or not you believe in hell. If something is true, not believing it does not change the fact that it is true. *Mainly Evangelical Christians believe this though.

well it really depends on who you ask. i have had Christians tell me to go to hell but then some that want to come to temple with me. most think i am going to go to hell because i dont believe in Jesus Christ. or they want to "save" me so i dont go to hell. its a very touchy subject

Depends on whatyou believe. Most Christians like myself believe we will go to heaven and the non believers will go to hell. At the end of time, we believe the earth will be set on fire and God will create a new world for us to live in. Atheists (sorry if i spelt it wrong) believe there is no God and believe when we die, there is no afterlife-nothing happens. So it all comes down to what you believe or your religion if any.Personally, i dont believe that as I am a Christian.

You might be given hell by overly religious Christians, but no, you won't go to Hell if you don't go to Church. Even not reading the Bible won't make you go to Hell. Jesus Christ saved you. Not going to church, and not reading the Bible. Follow Jesus Christ, not a Christian religion.
