the sides of the movie that you see at the theater are cut out in "full screen" DVD's, that way you don't see the empty space on top and bottom on your square TV. The theater screens are a rectangle shape.
No. Otherwise people would watch that site and not go to see movies. When no one went to see movies, people that make movies would go broke, and no one would make any movies.
No, not legally.

You can watch the movies whenever you want, but you need to know the characters well. They do not have a specific order in when to watch them.

A 2D movie has graphics that do not "come" out of the screen. A 3D movie's graphics seem to sort of pop out of the screen.

The movies that play in theaters are new releases. You can't watch them at home. Occasionally old movies have a special run at theaters, so people can experience them on a really huge screen. But these film revivals are a lot less popular nowadays, because, as you said, people can just watch the movies at home, for a fraction of the price of a movie ticket. Although, these days you don't really have to wait as long for a movie to come out on DVD. Before DVDs were invented, movies didn't come out on VHS tapes for sale or rent until at least a year after they were in theatres. That's a really long time to wait to see a movie. But nowadays, a movie stops playing at theatres, and then like, three months later it's out on DVD. I definitely find myself going to the movies a lot less because of that. Usually I only go to the movies now if it's a movie I'm just dying to see, and I cannot possibly wait three or four months for the DVD. And no matter how big your TV screen is, it's never going to be as big as a movie theater screen, especially an IMAX screen.
