Why do Hillary Clinton and Obama lie so much?

This is actually an unfair question. First, it presupposes that, out of all current political figures, only Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are liars. Further, it presumes that the majority of the things Hillary and Barack say are lies. As a Fox News talking point, this would make sense, since Fox commentators frames all stories with the assumption that Obama and Clinton are somehow devious and deceitful. But in reality, there is no evidence that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama lie constantly, nor that everything they say is deceptive. And there is also no evidence that they lie more than all other politicians.

In discussing these kinds of partisan questions, it it often a matter of interpretation: if you dislike Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, then whatever they say will sound like lies to you. But that doesn't mean they are in fact lying. It just means you have bought into the belief that neither person is trustworthy, and therefore, whatever they say, you will interpret it as a lie. On the other hand, it is certainly accurate to say that at times, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama do not always tell the whole truth, nor even the partial truth. But this can also be said about George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, or whoever-- there are no politicians from either party who are 100% honest at all times; and it's unrealistic to expect 100% honesty in politics.
