i dont really know
The US has always used copper in most of its coins. Silver and gold coins had at least 10% copper in them to make the alloy hard enough to resist wear. Large cents were made of pure copper, and bronze cents were 95% copper. Even the lowly "nickel" is actually 3/4 copper.
Usually Hindus wear traditional dress such as kurta. Hindus also wear brand new clothes on the day of Diwali.
Hindus wear anything they feel like. Some Hindus don't wear anything at all. It all depends on the Hindu in question.
ALL coins are "minted" coins because they're made at a mint. They are never pure silver or gold. US silver coins used to be 90% silver with some 10% copper added to make them harder so they wouldn't wear out as quickly. Now coins like quarters or dimes are clad. That means they are like a sandwich. They have a layer of copper and nickel on the top and bottom, and copper in the middle. If you look at the side of a quarter, you can see the copper.
Copper has never been used as a "filler". U.S. silver coins dated 1964 and earlier are made of an alloy containing 10% copper and 90% silver. Copper is necessary to harden the coins to prevent excessive wear. By itself silver is so soft that the coins would have worn out so quickly as to be impractical for daily use.
I have same coloring and use blues/brown/copper shades on my eyes.

Circulating US coins were struck in "coin silver" which has more copper in it than sterling silver. The extra copper was needed to make the coins hard enough to not wear out quickly. Please see the Related Question.
