You need to find out what your rights are. This is a different situation from your last question. What I see as your biggest problem, the judge is going to want to know why you let her get away with this threat for 10 or 12 years. Did she have something she was holding over your head?

If you had a visitation schedule ordered by the courts, the judge is going to want to know why you didn't try to have visitation enforced when this happened. They will also point out (if you had court ordered child support) Why you didn't pay it, why you didn't bring it to the court's attention years ago that the mother was not allowing you access to your children.

How do you get mother right removed as she has not had contact or paid child support in three years?

In this case, you can not force the mother to be in contact with her child, neither can the court, however, you are, and by all means, entitled to child support. All you need to do is, file for it.

Is it abandonment if a mother doesn't contact her daughter for over 9 months?

Can a mother sign over her legal rights to stop child support because you don't see your child anyway?

I think a mother, I'm assuming the custodial parent, can,in writing, request the support order to be stopped, but she can't deny the rights of the father to see his child later. Some people use it as a type of fee to let their baby's dad or mom see their child. I think, at least in Washington, that after three years of no contact or support, the non-custodial parent's right to visitation can be revoked. If the father doesn't want to see his kid anyway, I totally understand not wanting to take his money. I'm in a similar situation.

If child support is paid regularly since a break-up can the mother keep bringing the father back to court for more child support?

Absolutely. But your state may limit how often this can be done. For example, in Texas, a modification can take place only if three years have passed since the last court order or if the change in child support would increase the support obligation by $100 or 20%.

Are pension funds subject to garnishment for past due child support?

Nevada law states that there is no statute of limitations on past due child support. I have a 1986 judgment for past due child support and attorney fees. I was threatened for years by my ex-husband. He never re-married but had a subsequent child whose mother made sure that she received child support. He recently died and has three pensions. Can I file a claim against his pensions for past due child support?

How do stop child support after child turns 18 in California?

See Link BelowChild Support Age-At what age does child support stop and what steps need to be taken to bring this about?Because of the volume of child support cases, I would call six months before the support is due to expire, then three months , then one month. Get a name and contact number of the Enforcement employee and be nice and develop a rapport. This will help you avoid extension of the support payments by accident. If the support is indeed stopped on time, don't forget a gracious thank-you call to the enforcement officer.

What forms do you need to fill out to terminate child support payments in Georgia?

If this is due to the child aging out form under the order, either parent need only contact the Child Support Enforcement Office to make an official request for a modification. They are required under federal law to help. This process should begin three months prior to the point of termination to avoid delays.

If you are paying child support for one child that is living in another state and you have three children in your home that you financially take care of does that count for your income?

it depends what state you live in and if you claim the children on your taxes, or if you are the not the biological father of the other three kids you need to be married to their mother in order for them to be any kind of dependent for them to count for your income

Do you have to pay Child Support if you have 4 kids and one of the kids is with the non custodial parent?

You have to pay child support for any of your children that does not live with you. So if you have 3 kids that live with you and one kid that lives with your ex you would be responsible for paying child support for the one child that lives with your ex. However, you only have to pay, legally, when a court has ordered you to. If your ex is paying child support for the three kids that live with you a court could order a reduction in child support that he/she has to pay to you instead of you having to pay child support to him/her.
