My mother is a Proffessional International Cook, and looking through one of her books, we came accross Chicken curry. So we decided to make it, of course one of the ingridients was curry, we went to this Indian store in our town and they had it. The lady explained that curry originated in Britain and when Indians went to Britain they started making it. So I think this is a great question for a debate, Indians may say that it originated from India and the british may say that it originated in Britain, I hope this helped.

Because they eat a lot of spicy food, eg curry. Strong spices have extreme flavors, smells, and reactions. You are what you eat and it just so happens that it does not smell good the second time around. If anyone were to have the same diet as the Indians, you too will eventually emit the same smell. Also, many of them do not wear deodorant, anti-persperant, or cologne/perfume which does not help. Some of them perspire more than other cultures which releases the smell. The stink often has nothing to do with being dirty.
