Spiritism involves all sorts of things like magic, satanic rituals, psychic mediums, etc. Jehovah's Witnesses know that these things stem from Satan the god of this system of things. that is why they dislike it so much. In Deuteronomy 18: 10-12, it mentions many of the things that are weaved into paganism.
