Answer A
Because Muslims believe that Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) will be the only one who can defeat the anti Christ and the nonbelievers. We believe that Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) did not die, but was lifted bodily, by the All Mighty God, to heaven. It was only made to appear that he died on the cross.

Answer B

Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified. They believe that the enemies of Jesus (peace upon him) plotted and planned to crucify Jesus. However, God miraculously saved Jesus and raised him up to Him (to God). God, the all powerful and the all capable, put the likeness of Jesus (peace upon him) over another man. The enemies of Jesus (peace upon him) thought that the this other man is Jesus and they took him and crucified him. God has said:

"...They said, "We killed the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of God." They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but the likeness of him was put on another man (and they killed that man)... "(Quran, 4/157)

Quran says with,meaning English translation,

" ... Allah (God) raised him up unto himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power and Wise.. and there is none of the people of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the day of Judgment he will be a witness against them" (Quran, 4/158-159)

The generally accepted Muslim view is that Jesus is still living in the body in the Heaven and that he will appear just before the Final Day , after the coming of the Mahdi, when the world will be purified of sin and unbelief. There will be a final death before the final Resurrection, but all will have believed before that final death.

More Information

In Islam religion, Jesus (peace be upon him) is believed as one of the greatest prophets and one of the greatest messengers of God to mankind.

In the Quran, there is a complete chapter (chapter 19) titled 'Mariam' (Mary) that confirms Mariam virgin birth. The Quran states the following on the birth of Jesus (peace be upon him):

Jesus was born as miracle by the word and command of God. This command is, as said in Quran, the same command that had brought Adam into being with neither a father nor a mother. During the prophetic mission of Jesus (peace be upon him), Jesus performed many miracles. God tells us that Jesus said:

"I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. I make for you the shape of a bird out of clay, I breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God's permission. I heal the blind from birth and the leper. And I bring the dead to life by God's permission. And I tell you what you eat and what you store in your houses...." (Quran, 3/49)

Yes, Muslims believe that Jesus will come again before the Resurrection Day. They believe that Jesus is not yet dead but he was risen by God to the Heavens and that He will be back again and calls people to worship God as the one and only one God with no partner and no son. Then he will die as other people and be back to life again on the Resurrection Day.

Quran says:

"And [for] their (the Jews) saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah (or God)." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise. And there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in Jesus before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness." (4:157-159)

Yes, Muslims do expect a second coming of the Messiah. While they do not believe that Jesus was God incarnate, they do believe that he will return at the End of Days. Some sects believe that he will be aided by another quasi-prophet called the Mahdi. The Qur'an itself only alludes to this. The fundamental beliefs about the return of the Messiah and his struggle with the Dajjal or Anti-Christ are laid out in the Hadiths.

They believe that Mohammad was the last prophet, and no more new prophets are coming, or returning.

Qur'an 19:33: And peace is on me [Jesus] the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive."

Qur'an 43:61: And indeed, Jesus will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour [of Judgment], so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me. This is a straight path.

"The Resurrection" is a term that has two distinct meanings.

Among Christians, it is often used to describe how Jesus resumed living three days after his crucifixion. Since Muslims do not believe that the crucifixion happened, see Q: 4:157, Muslims do not believe that he came back to life since he did not die at that point. Eventually, Jesus, as a mortal, did die, as confirmed in Q: 5:117, but at this point, he was simply taken up to heaven.

Resurrection is usually used by Muslims to refer to Judgment Day, in Arabic: Yawm al-Qiyaama. On Judgment Day, the dead will be brought before the heavenly court where God will stand with Muhammad at his right hand and judge the deceased on their worthiness to go to heaven or hell. However, this is not an Earthly resurrection, e.g. the bodies are not returned to Earth, but a return to the body while in God's presence. As such, it would not be a resurrection as that term is usually used in pop-culture where a person on Earth comes back to life.

Do Spiritualists believe in Christ's second coming?

There are various Spiritualist variants (like there are various Christian variants). But, many wouldn't believe in that 2nd coming. It would be the return of Christ, as in Christ Consciousness (or way of thinking). Spiritualist religion is also like Christianity 2000 years ago. There's also the belief in the ending of earth's isolation in the universe, which would be much like the Christian concept of Jesus' second coming.
