If you believe that the religion of Islam has all the answers to everything, then you don't need science. Either science is going to agree with Islam in which case it is superfluous, or it going to disagree in which case it is heretical. Either way, science loses.
I should note that there is an effort by Muslims to create Islamic science, showing how science can be used to confirm the teachings of Islam. This is not unlike the Christian study of "creation science". In the end, everybody does want science on their side, but science must be subservient to religion, of you are a religious fanatic, as many people are.

In Mikey Crikey's* novels, very smart people - generally scientists and entrepreneurs - fool around with science and nature without due regard, or even any regard at all, for the consequences, which are usually disastrous. * Sorry, that's what I call him, fondly.
Jesus' identityJews reject Jesus, Christians worship him as a god, and Muslims regard him as a messenger of God.
its generally means "with regard to" or "in relation to".
Other than the fact that they all hold to the fact that there is One God who created everything, everything else is pretty much different. Our Blessed Lord, Jesus Christ would be a prime example. Jews reject Him as the Messiah, Catholics regard Him as God, and Muslims regard Him as a prophet.
Everybody thinks his holy book is important. Muslims are somewhat outstanding in this regard for the rules they have regarding the treatment of physical copies of their al-Qur'an almost amount to idolatry.
Out of the loins of Abraham came the jews, while the Muslims regard him as the one and only prophet who was worth of mention in the Kuran. The Islamic people refer to his a Father Abraham.
Arguably so. But he himself would probably regard it as just common sense.
